Rosa Mexicano prides itself on community involvement. On an ongoing basis we have supported a wide variety of charitable organizations around the country. However, the frequency and increasing number of donation requests has made it necessary to modify our policies regarding charitable contributions.
Our philanthropic outreach is currently guided by one strategic principle:
Giving back to our local communities by supporting causes
dedicated to alleviating the problem of hunger in America.
Donation Policies & Criteria:
1. Due to the frequency and extent of recent submissions, Rosa Mexicano has established guidelines to follow when considering eligible organizations. For this reason, Rosa Mexicano cannot support:
- Organizations that are not registered charities with tax-exampt status
- Political, religious or ethnic groups and programs
- Lobbying or advocacy groups
- Labor organizations
- Third-party fundraising organizations
- Individuals or for-profit businesses
- Fraternal organizations
- Conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops, telethons or corporate picnics
2. Each organization is limited to one donation receipt within a 12-month period.
3. We need six weeks notice to process all donation requests. This gives us time to receive your request and respond accordingly.
4. Only online requests will be accepted. Please fill out the Donation Request Form in its entirety and email it to donations@rosamexicano.com. If you are inquiring about a food donation, be sure to include the number of people expected (to help us estimate the amount of product needed), the desired product, the date and time, and your federal tax id number.
5. We will try to send a written response within six weeks of receiving the request. Please do not follow up requests with phone calls as this will delay processing. The submitting person/organization will be notified if approved for an in-kind donation.
